[MUM] Sexuality and Society: Is there a deficit of imagination?

This LGBT panel of speakers will compel a critical re-examination of our societal attitudes towards sexuality and push towards an emancipation of mind and body for all.

Whether we like to admit it or not, sexuality is all around us; it’s most viscerally in the bodies that we inhabit; it drives our deepest desires and fears; it propels all the glory and diversity of nature! And yet, many of us insist on straitjacketing sexuality among human beings into the “normal” and the “abnormal” – or the “natural” and the “unnatural”? Can love, romance, desire, attraction, lust, and craving be only occasioned between the bodies of a man and a woman? Can sexuality be ultimately only about producing babies?
